00 · You're Not On Your Own
No prior experience required — full course included with every membership.
The list below isn't a knowledge test. Whatever your level, every member gets access to a complete onboarding course that walks through what each component is, how to set up your broker account, install the EAYL App, connect everything, and run the systems safely. We explain it. We show it. And our support team is on hand if you get stuck.
This page exists for one reason: no surprises. By the time you've worked through onboarding, you'll have all of this running — capital, leverage, VPS, software. None of it needs to be set up beforehand; this is purely so you know what's coming.
01 · Broker
A live MT4, MT5, or TradeLocker account with high leverage.
EAYL copies trades onto your own broker account. You'll need:
- An account with a broker offering MT4, MT5, or TradeLocker. Most major brokers offer at least one. Demo accounts are supported for testing.
- High leverage — 1:100 minimum, 1:500 or higher preferred. This is about margin efficiency, not risk. Five algorithmic systems can hold open positions simultaneously; without enough leverage, a perfectly profitable basket can hit margin call simply because too much capital is tied up as margin. Higher leverage = same risk per trade, just less of your equity locked.
- Minimum $1,000 per active system — so $1,000 if you're running one system, $5,000 if you're running all five. See Card 02 for why.
02 · Capital
$1,000 per system you want to run.
The minimum sensible account size is $1,000 per active system.
- Want to run one system? $1,000 minimum.
- Want to run all five? $5,000 minimum.
Why a minimum at all?
- Lot sizing has a floor. Brokers can't fill smaller than 0.01 lots. The risk engine sizes lots based on your account equity — too small an account, and every trade is forced to the minimum lot, which is disproportionately large risk for the account size.
- Drawdown tolerance. Algorithmic systems experience open floating drawdown during basket resolution. Sub-$1,000 accounts get blown out by what would be normal mid-trade drawdown on a properly sized account.
These are minimums, not recommendations. More capital = smoother equity curve and less stress watching the account.
03 · Infrastructure
Run on a Windows VPS. Not your laptop.
The EAYL Trading Hub App must run continuously to receive signals from our master accounts and dispatch trades to your terminal. This is non-negotiable.
Why a home PC isn't suitable:
- Forex markets open Sunday evening through Friday evening — 24 hours a day, 5 days a week. Your laptop sleeps, restarts for Windows updates, loses Wi-Fi, or gets unplugged. Every minute the App isn't running is missed copy trades.
- Power outages, ISP outages, your housemate rebooting the router — all result in missed entries and worse, missed exits (trades stuck open when the master closes).
- VPS internet latency is consistent and close to your broker's server. Home internet introduces variable slippage.
Recommended VPS specs:
- 2 vCPU minimum (4 vCPU if running multiple broker terminals)
- 4 GB RAM minimum
- Windows Server 2019 / 2022 or Windows 11
- SSD storage, ~30 GB free
- Located close to your broker's server (London for EU/UK, NY for US, Tokyo/Singapore for Asian brokers)
We offer a recommended VPS for around $10/month — link provided after sign-up. Otherwise any reputable forex-VPS provider works (typically £20–50/month).
04 · Software
What needs to be installed.
The setup is small. On your VPS (or PC, if testing):
- Windows 11 or Windows Server 2019 / 2022
- MetaTrader 4, MetaTrader 5, or TradeLocker (whichever your broker supports)
- The EAYL Trading Hub App (signed installer, downloadable after sign-up)
- A Discord account — we use Discord for sign-in, and our bot DMs you on critical events (disconnects, plan changes, etc.). Free to create.
- A stable broadband connection (a VPS handles this automatically)
That's the full list. You don't need to know how to code, configure EAs by hand, or manage broker settings — the App handles lot sizing, symbol mapping, and trade execution.
05 · Realistic Expectations
What this is, and what it isn't.
EAYL is execution infrastructure. We do not promise returns, time the market for you, or recover losing periods. Specifically:
- Returns are not guaranteed. Past performance shown on system detail pages is historical; future performance can differ meaningfully.
- Drawdown is normal and expected. Our systems use drawdown-based basket strategies. Open floating drawdown will accumulate during basket resolution — this is by design, not a malfunction. Read Understanding Drawdown on the How It Works page before you commit.
- All five systems can be in drawdown at the same time. The systems are uncorrelated on average, not in every market regime. During some periods, multiple systems will be down simultaneously. This is why we don't recommend going all-in on a single $1,000 account running all five.
- You still need to leave it alone. The hardest part of automated trading isn't installing it — it's not intervening when you're in drawdown. EAYL removes the execution from your hands; the discipline is still on you.
- EAYL is software, not investment advice. We don't take custody of your funds, we don't see your account balance until you connect it, and we don't tell you whether trading is right for you.
